Avanta PIP Joint Surface Replacement Arthroplasty - Surgical technique instructional video with Megan Fitzgerald O.T. Sponsored by Advanced Surgical Technology and Taylor Bryant. Distributed to surgeons and hand therapists using this implant in Australasia and internationally June 2003.

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Part 2 Exam. Three hour video for trainees and surgical supervisors preparing for the final exit exam with details of the marking system, Court process and feedback for failed candidates. All written, clinical, anatomy and viva components with scoring using a previously successful candidate shown. It will also be provided to all Senior Examiners in other specialties. Distributed January 2004.

Member of RACS Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Curriculum Review Committee 2004 to 2005. Responsible for Surgical Science and Principles and Hand ,Upper Limb and Microsurgery modules.

Regular 1 hour lecture on paediatric hand trauma with RCH medical students.

Developed the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgical Science and Principles Exam. The curriculum and model questions for this exam are complete. The exam to be sat at the end of the first year of advanced training must be passed before progressing to the Part 2 exit exam. This commenced October 2005. A bank of questions and an educationally and statistically sound marking system has been developed.

Refinement of the vertical scar in Lejour mammaplasty, modifications including Hall-Findlay and the management of large post lumpectomy and irradiated breasts as well as the contralateral breast in carcinoma.
Obstetric brachial plexus palsy in collaboration with David McCombe and Michael Johnson (Orthopaedic Surgery)
Standardization of cross-sectional histology, grading, axon counts, frozen section with RCH Anatomical Pathology
Early intervention for shoulder dysfunction and deformity including role of botulinum toxin A treatment of co-contraction and contractures.
Database established 2006 for matched pair outcome and other studies
